Today...

I feel like crap and I don't know why. I feel like I've crashed after sustaining an incredibily long high. This sucks.

The Interview

1. If you want to participate, leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.” (And your e-mail address, please.)

2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.

3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

My interview questions came from Kayla.

1. If you could change what you do for a living, what would you do? Why? Well, this question is actually a pretty easy one, because I am working on changing what I am doing for a living as we speak. Right now I'm a paralegal and even though I enjoy most of what I do I would rather have the salary that comes with being an attorney. This is the year that I am going to be taking the next steps that I need to take to go about going to law school. Hopefully, I will be accepted and start that chapter in my life no later then the fall of 2010.

2. What's one cd you're ashamed to tell people you have?
This is a tough one because I have such an eclectic taste in music and I have never been ashamed of what kind of music I like. I had to actually look at my CD collection and see what I would less likely like to be caught jammin' to in my car. For lack of a better answer I would have to say the soundtrack to the movie "Grease". I love that soundtrack, but would probably a little embarrased to admit that I know every lyric to every song including dance moves.

3. Do you remember your first kiss? If so, who was it with?
Unfortunately, I don't remember my first kiss, but I assume it was with my first boyfriend Paolo. He was from Brazil and we dated in 9th grade for a few months.

4. Do you have any regrets about losing someone you dated?
I'm sure I had regrets after we broke up, but at this point in time I realize it was for the best.

5. Did you ever own MC Hammer pants?

No. Thank God I was never that cool.

Eternally Grateful

Well there has been so much going on the last couple of months I hardly know where to begin. I guess first I should apologize for leaving on such a dark note. I was in a really bad place and just couldn't get myself out of it. I felt as if I was going completely insane.

Next, I would like to thank everyone who commented and e-mailed me when I was feeling "mighty low". The thought that you all cared enough to write me at all really touched me. There are a few people in particular that I want and need to thank, because they took the time out of their own lives to really help me, but I will be sending them individual notes to them as soon as I find the words. I have started several letters to them, but the words never seem good enough to express how deeply grateful and...how in awe I am of them. I can't believe that some one...several some ones actually took time of their busy lives to make sure that my son and were ok. They will never know how much that meant to me especially when my own flesh and blood family was so slow to step up to the plate.

I never really had any real friends…I’ve had acquaintances, but never any real friends. It was mostly my fault because I usually kept everyone at a distance. I still do some times…but I’m working on it. I'm so happy that the good Lord has seen fit to send me some true friends finally after all these years. Friends that I can’t scare off so easily with my craziness and erratic behavior because they are just as crazy…LMAO!!

Well, I really didn’t want to say too much…just thanks for reading and I will be back to regular blogging from now on.

Happy Birthday...

...to the most FABULOUS son a mommy could ever have. I can't believe you are 10 years-old!! Where have all the years gone? It seems like it was just yesterday when I held you in my arms for the very first time and I promised to love and take care of you always.

You have changed my life for the better and you make me sooooo VERY PROUD everyday. Watching you grow into the wonderful young man you are becoming has been such a joy.
I'm so VERY HAPPY to be your mother.

You are my world!!

Love always and forever,
Mommy
